    About Meredith Medland

Meredith Medland is an AI strategist and systems builder. She leads Human First Media, where she helps founders and executives at $3M+ companies show up in search and AI answers and run their operations on AI systems that work. She has worked in digital strategy since 1998, from trend research at Jupiter Research to building a $30 million digital division at The Sharper Image. Today she runs 40+ specialized AI agents across her own businesses and installs the same kind of system for clients. She is also a third-degree black belt in Hapkido.

As founder of Human First Media, she builds emotionally resonant GPT and AI agents that reflect a founder's voice, not just their data.

She's not here to sell you another framework or convince you that AI is going to save your business. She's here to help you figure out what actually makes sense for YOU, your business, your team, your leadership style, your vision for the future, and then give you the clarity, confidence, and strategic precision you need to execute on it.

She's figured out how to help leaders navigate chaos, cut through noise, and make decisions that actually matter.

She's Been in the Fire (And Came Out Sharper for It)

Meredith came up during the original dot-com boom, back when people were still arguing about whether this whole "internet thing" was a fad or the future.

She wasn't sitting on the sidelines waiting to see how it played out.

    She was IN it.

    • Analyzing trends at Jupiter Research while the rest of the world was still using dial-up.
    • Building and scaling a $30 million digital division at The Sharper Image when e-commerce was basically the Wild West.
    • Watching billion-dollar companies get built... and watching them collapse just as fast.

She learned what it actually takes to lead through disruption, not as a theoretical exercise, but as a daily practice, and she's carried those lessons with her ever since, which is probably why she doesn't have a lot of patience for consultants who've never actually had to make the thing WORK, who've never been responsible for hitting the numbers, who've never had to look their team in the eye and say "here's what we're doing next" when nobody, including them, was 100% sure it was the right call.

    Because she HAS.

Over and over again. For more than two decades.

And that's not something you can fake.

    She Sees What Others Miss

Here's what people don't realize about Meredith until they've worked with her:

She has this almost eerie ability to walk into a room, whether it's a boardroom full of skeptical executives or a Zoom call with a burned-out founder, and within minutes, see exactly what's ACTUALLY going on beneath the surface.

Not the surface-level stuff everyone's talking about.

    The REAL stuff.

    • The limiting beliefs that are keeping a CEO stuck.
    • The team dynamics that are quietly sabotaging execution.
    • The gap between what someone SAYS they want and what they're actually willing to do.
    • The places where logic and intuition are out of alignment, where the data is saying one thing but the body is screaming something else.

    She sees it all.

And she'll tell you about it, too, not in a harsh, "let me tear you down" kind of way, but in a calm, grounded, "here's what I'm noticing, and here's why it matters" kind of way that makes you feel SEEN instead of judged.

Because she's not here to make you feel bad about where you are.

She's here to help you get where you're going.

    Where Strategy Meets Soul

Most consultants live in one of two camps:

They're either all LOGIC, spreadsheets, dashboards, data-driven decision-making, move fast and break things, with zero regard for the human cost of that approach.

Or they're all FEELINGS, mindset work, energy healing, manifestation, trust the universe, with no real understanding of how to actually run a business.

Meredith lives in the space between.

The place where strategy meets soul.

    • Where you can make decisions that are both smart and aligned.
    • Where you can move quickly without sacrificing presence.
    • Where you can integrate AI without losing your humanity.

    And that's not an accident.

It's the result of decades spent studying both sides of the equation, the hard skills (marketing, operations, finance, tech strategy) AND the soft skills (somatic awareness, nervous system regulation, embodied leadership), and refusing to believe that you have to choose between them.

    Because you don't.

The best leaders she's ever worked with aren't the ones who are purely logical OR purely intuitive. They're the ones who've learned how to integrate both.

    • To listen to the data AND their gut.
    • To think critically AND feel deeply.
    • To lead with precision AND presence.

    And that's what she teaches.

The best leaders aren't purely logical OR purely intuitive. They've learned to integrate both.

She's a Black Belt (And Yes, That Actually Matters)

When people find out Meredith is a third-degree black belt, they usually react in one of two ways:

Either they think it's cool but irrelevant to business.

Or they immediately get what it means.

If you're in the second camp, you already know:

    • Being a black belt isn't about fighting.
    • It's about precision under pressure.
    • It's about staying calm when chaos is swirling around you.
    • It's about training your body to respond instead of react.
    • It's about understanding that mastery isn't a destination, it's a practice, and the practice never stops.

And all of that? It translates DIRECTLY into how she shows up as a leader, a strategist, and a human being.

    • She doesn't get rattled easily.
    • She doesn't make decisions from fear or reactivity.
    • She doesn't need to perform confidence because she's spent decades building the REAL thing from the inside out.

And when you work with her, that presence is contagious.

You start to notice that you're making decisions faster. That you're less reactive. That you're able to hold complexity without collapsing into overwhelm.

Not because she's teaching you some fancy new framework.

But because she's showing you what it looks like to lead from a grounded, regulated, embodied place.

She's Seen the Future Before (And She's Doing It Again)

    Here's the thing about Meredith:

    She's been here before.

She's already lived through one massive technological disruption.

She watched the internet go from "interesting curiosity" to "fundamental infrastructure" in real time.

She saw which companies survived and which ones didn't.

She learned what separates the leaders who thrive during upheaval from the ones who get left behind.

And now, as AI reshapes every industry on the planet, she's watching the same patterns play out all over again.

    • The hype. The fear. The grifters selling snake oil. The genuinely brilliant innovations buried under layers of noise.
    • The leaders who freeze because they're overwhelmed by options.
    • The leaders who move too fast and break things that didn't need to be broken.
    • And the rare few who manage to navigate it all with clarity, confidence, and a deep respect for the humans on the other side of the technology.

    She's in that last group.

And she's helping others get there, too.

Not by hyping up the latest tool or trend.

But by helping leaders develop the discernment to know what actually matters, the presence to make decisions from a grounded place, and the strategic fluency to integrate AI in a way that amplifies their strengths instead of replacing them.

    Meredith professional headshot

She's helping leaders develop the discernment to know what actually matters.

She's Done the Work (So You Don't Have to Reinvent the Wheel)

Over the last two and a half decades, Meredith has:

    • Led digital transformations for global companies.
    • Rebuilt teams from the ground up.
    • Launched bestselling books.
    • Helped CEOs cut through years of indecision in a single conversation.
    • Trained leaders how to make better, faster decisions without sacrificing their humanity.
    • Built marketing systems that generated millions in revenue.
    • And advised everyone from solopreneurs to Fortune 1000 executives on how to grow sustainably, strategically, and without burning themselves out in the process.

She's been the strategist who restructured entire divisions.

The consultant who identified the holes no one else could see.

The advisor who helped companies stop hemorrhaging money on things that didn't matter.

The leadership coach who helped executives reconnect with their intuition so they could actually TRUST their decisions again.

She's worn many different hats, and costumes! Not in theory. In practice.

She's distilled everything she's learned into a way of working that's equal parts strategic and soulful, disciplined and deeply human.

She's Not Here to Save You

    Here's what Meredith won't do:

    • She won't try to convince you that you NEED her.
    • She won't use fear tactics to sell you on the "urgency" of AI adoption.
    • She won't pretend she has all the answers.
    • And she definitely won't waste her time (or yours) trying to "save" people who aren't ready to do the work.

    Because the truth is:

She's not here to save anyone.

She's here to work with leaders who are ALREADY showing up, already putting in the effort, already committed to getting better, and who just need someone in their corner who can help them move faster, think clearer, and lead with more confidence and presence.

If you're looking for someone to hold your hand and tell you everything's going to be okay without you having to change anything?

    She's not your person.

But if you're ready to cut through the noise, make better decisions, integrate AI in a way that actually makes sense for YOUR business, and lead from a place of embodied clarity instead of reactive performance?

Then she's exactly who you need.

She Believes in a Different Kind of Leadership

At the end of the day, Meredith's work is really about one thing:

Helping leaders stop performing and start inhabiting their role.

Because most people are walking around trying to LOOK like a leader, saying the right things, projecting confidence they don't feel, managing their image instead of managing their energy.

    And it's exhausting.

    It's also unsustainable.

    And it doesn't actually work.

The leaders who WIN aren't the ones who perform the best.

They're the ones who are the most GROUNDED.

    The most PRESENT.

The most able to make decisions from a place of clarity instead of fear.

And that's what she helps people build.

Not a shinier version of themselves.

    But a MORE ALIGNED version.

One that doesn't require them to choose between being effective and being human.

    Meredith with partner

Because in her world, being effective and being human aren't at odds. They're the SAME thing.

She's Building the Future (One Leader at a Time)

    She's a sought-after speaker, strategist, and advisor.

She's the founder of Human First Media.

But more than any of that?

She's someone who genuinely cares about making sure the future of AI is shaped by leaders who haven't forgotten that on the other side of every algorithm, every dashboard, every automation, there's a HUMAN BEING.

    And that matters.

Because the future isn't just going to be built by whoever has the best technology.

It's going to be built by whoever can LEAD that technology with clarity, presence, and a deep respect for what it means to be human.

And she's training those leaders right now.

    One conversation at a time.

    One decision at a time.

    One transformation at a time.
